This lab activity provided by the University of Washington's Astronomy Department, gives an introduction to Big Bang Nucleosynthesis. This lab helps students understand why helium abundance in our universe provides crucial evidence for the Big Bang Model of the universe. The exercise provides a summary, background and theory, procedures, charts and diagrams and even a worksheet.
